Wyspianski High School nr 8 in Rzeszow prepares its students to continue education in higher education schools: colleges and universities.
Our school, since its foundation in 1992, has been actively involved in a series of enterprises. Both teaching staff and its students have initiated many various events as well as created interest circles that attract plenty of our students.
In the school there are many extra activities and additional classes such as clubs or interest circles. Among them one can mention: Sports Clubs and Cheerleaders, School Theatre ”Fraszka”, School Circle of ’’Caritas’’, Association of Children Friends. Members of the Tourist Club ’’Ósma Mila’’ participate in various tourist events all over Poland on a regular basis. They have been ranked as one of the best teams several times. Sports classes each year are the co-organizers of the competition based on the geographical knowledge of the Rzeszow region called ‘’Gra terenowa po Rzeszowie’’.
Students of Wyspianski High School nr 8 frequently take part in concerts, plays, movies. The best students are entitled to get scholarships granted by the Prime Minister and the Minister Of National Education and Sport.
Active students can develop their interests in Self governing Students Body, European Club, School Magazine 3 plus 8. There is also a possibility to use a school library and a school surgery. The school is equipped with two big gyms, a dance room with mirrors and a fitness gym. One can find the only in Rzeszow beach volleyball courts I the school sports field. There is also a chance to use the state-of-the-art multimedia centre providing access to the internet. The Association of School Initiatives Wyspiański plays a vital role in organizing plenty of events.
The school regularly organizes ‘’going out’’ to volleyball matches, in the wintertime students can masters their skiing on trips to the slopes in Podkarpacie region.
